Shetland Photography Holidays

WELCOME.

Shetland Photography Holidays offers a unique experience for the keen amateur digital photographer to take pictures of the natural world in the most visually exciting place in the British Isles.

Award-winning photographer Lee Mott will share his experience and enthusiasm for the wildlife and landscapes of Shetland, one of the finest locations for nature photography on the planet.

The UK’s most northerly island group lies at the crossroads of the North Atlantic and the North Sea, and is a crucial breeding ground for more than one million seabirds. Its waters abound with marine life, from Otters and Seals to Whales and Dolphins, and its unusual topography and ever changing weather combine to create an endless variety of breathtaking views.

These holidays provide an opportunity to explore the islands themselves by land and sea, and to expand the possibilities offered by your digital camera, no matter what your level of ability is.

Our  Holidays are designed for the photographer wanting to experience the rich variety of scenery and wildlife on offer, visiting contrasting destinations each day and spending as much time on location as possible.

While Our Digital Photography Courses combine time in the wild and back in the quiet of the studio. While still designed as a holiday, greater emphasis is placed on teaching as much as possible about working with cameras and computers.

Our aim is to provide an experience which is stimulating, relaxing and educational. We take a professional, but laid back approach to make sure you enjoy your time in Shetland as much as possible and leave with a suitcase full of memories, skills and knowledge that will serve you for the rest of your life.
