We are a  committed supporting member of Wild Scotland. The Scottish Wildlife and Nature Tourism Operators Association.

A group of  Nature based Tourism Professional who are committed to deliver a first class service.
One of the major aims of the organization is to raise awareness relating to, and effecting
sustainable tourism, and to ensure a quality and sustainable experience for visitors, by identifying and promoting best practices and appropriate codes of conduct

About Our Brochure

As most of our clientele work with digital cameras, we assume that they also have access to the
Internet. Therefore we have taken a deliberate decision to reduce our carbon footprint by NOT
publishing a printed brochure. Instead details of all our Holidays and courses are available on
our web site  and the brochure is available for download as a PDF file.

As a result of this decision we will be donating £5 for every booking to Hillswick Wildlife Sanctuary, in Northmavine, to help with their work rescuing and rehabilitating seals and otters in Shetland.

Shetland Photography Holidays are committed to reducing the environmental impact our
Holidays and Courses have on Shetland Wildlife and Landscape.
We adhere to thoroughly  researched environmental measures to ensure the Wildlife suffers
no adverse effects from our encounters, and  strictly enforce our policy of leaving only
 footprints and taking only pictures
We pride our selves that our clients are complementary to the way we enforce our measures.

We support many conservation bodies, including, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, RSPB,
and Shetland Bird Club.
